The overnight fire left South Korea's top cultural landmark in ruins. When I wached this situation on TV, I was so sad that I broke out into tears. Some of my earliest memories are of a picnic in Sungnyemun with parents. It was a great time for me and the place was overlaid with memories of my childhood.
I am sad. Memories of the past filled my mind....
